Will My Screen Arrive Clean?
We make every effort to ensure that your new KatzEye™ focusing screen will be clean upon its arrival. Before packaging, your screen will be carefully cleaned and inspected under high magnification. It is then immediately placed in a specially designed, clean-room certified bag and sealed for shipment. In most cases, you will be able to take the screen from its bag and place it directly in the camera. However, the conditions of the installation environment are obviously not within our control and it is not uncommon to get dust on the screen immediately upon removing it from the packaging. Common sources of dust are air conditioning, ceiling fans, clothing, mirror damping foam within the camera, etc. We make every effort to make the process as easy as possible, but ultimately a clean installation is the responsibility of the installer.
